from Stuff Said with Gregg Schigiel Hosted by Hatter Entertainment

SHOW NOTES: Dave’s web site & twitter Dave’s podcast (w/Jerzy Drozd), Kids’ Comics Revolution On the subject of THE ADVENTURES OF PETE & PETE, the story Dave mentioned that he might have theoretically send to the P&P Zine is here, and here are sketches I was working on when I was gunning for a P&P comic in Nickelodeon Magazine: Check out some LIFE METER comics, including work by past guests Jacob Chabot and Brian Smith. Patton Oswalt’s keynote speech at Just For Laughs 2012 (which I referenced), which you can read here, or watch here. Dave discussed working with alt/indy talent at NICKELODEON MAGAZINE. Here’s a Fairly OddParents story he edited, “Animal Magnetism”, with layouts by Evan Dorkin with pencils by me (which is to say I took Evan’s awesome layouts and put the characters “on model” – Sorry Evan!) Similar to Dave’s response to Jimmy Gownley pitching AMELIA RULES to Nickelodeon Magazine, here’s the response I got from Dave for my pitch, SAFARI JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: Here’s a taste of COUNTRY BEARS, featuring Mr. Christopher Walken (warning, this clip features a crucial character revelation; spoiler alert): “(theme for) Stuff Said” by Craig Chin (also on Soundcloud) Additional Music: “She is Staggering” & “Hey Sandy” by Polaris, “Intergalactic” by Beastie Boys
