Stumptown Radio - Portland Thorns Edition: Reactions to Hina Sugita trade to Angel City FC for M.A. Vignola and $600k, Christine Sinclair Day, and road woes at NJ/NY Gotham FC

Welcome back to Stumptown Radio - Portland Thorns Edition. On this episode Phuoc, Emma, and Wilder hop on the mics to discuss the massive trade of Hina Sugita to Angel City FC for M.A. Vignola and $600,000 in intraleague funds. With the Portland Thorns facing Bay FC this weekend, it’s also one of the most important days in franchise history. Christine Sinclair is being honored and the iconic No. 12 jersey being retired. The trio discuss how much it means to the city, club, and everyone. Unfortunately the injury and road woes continue as they dropped an awful 0-3 loss to NJ/NY Gotham FC to fall further down the NWSL table. Phuoc also discusses his exclusive interview with President and General Manager Jeff Agoos and all the work that went into it. Also, the STF crew addresses the Rose City Riveters’ post in regard to fan/supporter negativity towards certain players at Providence Park and how it must stop immediately. This is a public episode.
