Stunt? Hoax? Mistaken Identity? NYPD Just Showed Up At Our Door For Welfare Check

Happy Sunday everyone, it’s been quite the afternoon for us! We had just gotten back from lunch, in the middle of an afternoon work session, when we received a surprise phone call from our front doorman: Police were in the lobby and wanted to come up and conduct a “welfare check.” T.J. and I had very different reactions, but both of them involved confusion and a healthy dose of fear.
