Subcora [Journey Series]

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series! On this week's editions we welcome @Subcora Originally from Istanbul and currently based in Liverpool, Subcora is an academic day time, and a music alchemist/DJ night time. After years of being involved in music through different roles, i.e., as a singer, music writer and interview editor, she is now mostly focusing on DJing. She is keen on harmonising mostly melodic, instrumentally rich songs with a subtle groove, within different genres of house and different modes. Recently she joined Liverpool based DJ duo Maschinenfunk and now together they run nights that bring rhythmic, percussive & atmospheric sounds to the city. She also hosts a monthly live radio show at community radio Melodic Distraction. We are happy to welcome her to our family, and we hope you enjoy this mix as much as we do!
