悲しい時、独りだと感じる時も、あなたは1人じゃない。 周りの方に感謝でいっぱいになる、御守りのような詩を読みました。 ◆あしあと(Footprints) ある夜、一人の男が夢をみた。 夢の中で彼は主と共に、海辺を歩いていた。 空一杯に彼の生涯の色々な場面が、ひらめくように映し出された。 それぞれの場面に、二人の足あとが砂の上に、ついているのである。 一つは彼のであり、もう一つは主のものであった。 彼の人生のラストシーンが、映し出されたとき、男は砂の上の足あとを振り返ってみた。 すると、小道づたいに、一人分の足あとしかないところが、何度もあるのに気付いたのである。 「主よ、あなたはどんな時にも、私と一緒に歩いて下さると約束してくださいました。 それなのに、私の生涯で、一番困ったときや苦しい時には、一人分の足あとしかないのです。 どうして私があなたを、最も必要とした時期に、私を置き去りにされたのですか。」 「わが子よ、私はあなたから離れたことは、一度もなかった。 あなたが試練にあって苦しんでいるあいだ、一人分の足あとしかないのは、その時、私はあなたを背負っていたからだ。」 One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scenes he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The Lord replied, "my precious, precious child. I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering.
