Submit to the Lord

Pastor Austin preached from 1 Samuel 25–26 in a sermon titled “Submit to the Lord,” encouraging believers to trust God's timing and respond with faithful obedience in every circumstance. Through the examples of David, Abigail, and Saul, the message demonstrated what it looks like to submit to God's will instead of taking matters into our own hands.The sermon highlighted two marks of submission to the Lord. First, submission trusts the Lord’s intervention. Pastor Austin reminded the church that God is faithful to work on behalf of His people, and we can trust Him to accomplish His purposes in His perfect timing. Second, submission walks in righteousness and faithfulness. Like David, believers are called to choose what is right, remain faithful to God, and honor Him even when facing difficult situations or unjust treatment.This message challenged the church to surrender fully to the Lord, trust His sovereign plan, and live lives marked by righteousness and faithful obedience as they follow Him each day.
