Subscription Models & No Show Policies | Medical Monday - Ep 98

In this episode of the Spinoso Podcast, I dive into how we handle hormone therapy pellet treatments and our subscription model. I walk you through the two options we offer: month-to-month payments or an all-in-one treatment where you pay upfront. Depending on geographic location and dosage, the prices for pellets range for both men and women. I explain that we include everything in the price — from the pellets themselves to the insertion procedure, follow-up labs, and additional medications like estrogen blockers or fertility treatments. It's all about making sure patients have a clear understanding of what they're getting and how we structure our pricing. I also share how we've introduced this subscription model to our existing hormone therapy and weight loss patients. Communication is key, so we make sure to send out email blasts, text messages, and even discuss it during follow-up appointments. This helps our patients feel comfortable with the new billing method, and we explain why it's beneficial for them. By offering discounts to the first group who switch to the subscription model, we make the transition as seamless as possible while ensuring patients continue receiving the best care. Lastly, I tackle how we manage no-shows and cancellations with the subscription model. Our contract outlines what happens if a patient doesn't show up, and we give them flexibility while making sure everything is clearly communicated. For non-controlled medications, we'll continue sending them throughout the year, but for controlled substances, we review every 90 days. The goal is to keep things running smoothly while making sure our patients are well taken care of.
