Like that's sorry. Exactly. I needed a joke. I'm sick of the darkness.
I needed a light. So, yeah. Yeah, it's a funny remember the last time we had. I mean, I see all the time and I'm going to say I'm still creeping all over the channel doing doing Marvel stuff and Power Rangers and sometimes talking about anime.
Let's give us that's less important to this. The main event. I forgot about wrestling. Yeah, it's beautiful.
The me now. But like strip feed. I don't like, you know, take it all the time. I'll do it on his terms.
Yeah. And I think it's always happens about this time you want to do spooker stays because there's a few members of the team that aren't fun of the horror movies or the scariest. So it's kind of like take it back saying we'll find some new people and some interesting conversations on hard. But it's fun though, because I like listening to podcasts about scary movies and then I don't have to watch them, but I get to hear about them and hear about all the monsters and mess up stuff, which I very much enjoyed a lot of your episodes this season.

Oh, yeah. Shh. So we have had an interesting week as well, as I said, Sammy went to Disney Land had a fight with emails and come back with with these teal. It was French Mickey though, so he's a lower class.
No, because you can't. They don't walk around anymore. You have like meeting the great spots, but you've got you've got a sign up for them and no, but I did say it was outside the haunted mansion. Well, you know why that is, though, it's because of the Tigger situation that happened to Paris where the naughty Tigger kept attention of all the mummies.
It must be, honestly, it must be a Tigger thing. Yes. We did. Think about Tigger.

So I'm going to start this episode with the line that ends the movie. I love this street. Oh, I do have the tag lines for this movie. Obviously.
Yes. That's what I do. And if you haven't noticed, we're doing the cult classic a rarely in the field, a horror comedy. But I would say this is still classed as all right.
Definitely a horror comedy. The Burps. Tom Hanks is one of Tom Hanks's greatest performances. And yes, I am but he's other films on top of this because this is hilarious.
It is. It is. And we're going to get into this before that. I'm going to give you the tag lines for this movie.
Just to set us all up. Okay. So a comedy about one nice guy who gets pushed too far. Just quite hard.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They're just like wrote down what they thought.
Yeah, pretty much. But the next two, I'm probably going to do them just as he's a man of peace in a savage land. Suburbia. I took it.
Yeah. Right. That's not good. That was not good.
He's a stranger in an even stranger land. Suburbia. Oh, that's not true. He grew up in the town.
He says so. And the final one. Life in the Burbs will never be the same again. That is true.
Yeah. They blew up that street. Yeah. Really good.
What an absolute belter of a movie that I only watched a few years ago. Wasn't that long ago? And you would exist it. And it's which is bizarre because a style of comedy is definitely some of my favorite.
Yeah. I would love this as a kid, I think. And I've definitely like seen the video cover, you know, because it's like it's pretty striking. Iconic isn't it.
The Tom Hanks, like just standing there. Yeah. That's. Talk about the cover.
As you said, the cover is iconic. But when you look at the marketing from this movie, it is fucking terrible. Yeah. There is promotion stuff.
No. No. What they could have done. And like what they have in this movie, they could have done so much fun stuff as well.
But it's almost like it was kind of sad. Like, all this movie, because how dark it was. No, it wasn't that at all. It was the writer's strike.
All right. Yeah. So the film was actually shot in sequence and because it was done during the film at the writer's strike in 1988, they had to rush the production. So therefore they had to rush the promotion of it too.
So it had nothing to do with the fact that they didn't want to. They're just the certain things that they couldn't do with it. And you will notice that a lot of this is improv. Right.
This is if you, you probably look at scenes of what God, yeah, that was definitely improv. It is. And because those script is there, but because it's a writer's strike, the writer who was on set can't touch anything. So George on ages went right.
You know what needs to be said. Just go ahead and see it. However, we want to see it. So there's a lot of stuff that's in there that's improv.
And personally, I feel like that's what makes it work. And some of the greatest lines like sitting is good, sitting is a pal. That's all improvised. Yeah.
That made me laugh when it comes back later in like in his night. Yeah. And the likes of like Carrie Fisher and Tom Hanks playing double Japanese, you know, and sitting playing. Again, it's just improvised.
So there's a lot of there's a lot of acting skill has gone into making this movie as good as it. Bear in mind, this movie bombed. Oh, 100%. I was born as most brilliant movies from the 80s did.
All that's the thing. Anything that was a little bit different, a little bit quirky, a little bit out there. Yeah. Like it's kind of like we could use the same a lot.
It was very ahead of its time for a tumor. Mm-hmm. The soul comedy in this is hilarious. It was one bit.
I had actually pause because I was in like all my head looked at the toilet. So I was going to wet myself. So literally it's so subtle. They are sitting at the breakfast table.
You got Tom Hanks. You got his friend was his friend called. And he gets a plate taken away that he's just eating. Then he has another one put down and he starts eating it.
And halfway through he gets up, walks to the fridge and takes out left over ribs. Yeah. Something else and a full pineapple. And just puts the pineapple down on the table.
Nobody acknowledges it. Nobody says anything. I am in I am belly over in laughter. That is so funny.
There is just some absolute comedy moments in here. Yeah. I think there's a part just after that as well. I love just like I think like Harry like brings something over and he like dips his finger in and then he kind of like makes like a space.
So they again, Tom Hanks just keeps talking throughout this. It's just totally like on the side. Yeah. It's the the the Walter femur when they have the femur and it's Walter and they do the stream.
That is just that's the level of comedy I absolutely love. I love the whole cheesy camera trick as well. I go. Oh.
Yeah. What? No, I believe that. Yeah.
Yeah. Oh, yeah. And did you either of you recognize the street? No.
No. It's a universal bad lot. Right. That is being used multiple times.
It is being refurbished. It's being refurbished. Postwives. Bingo.
It is. It is a desperate house. However, our house. Right.
Yeah. Is the shell of the monsters. Oh, right. I like that.
Really? The one that goes to ambulance. Yes. Yes.
For the houses. For the houses. For the houses. For the ones that house.
The houses of all being like re-put over time. Like obviously, you know, the stuff coming in place. But that shell of our house is the original monster's house. And I lost my mind at that.
I was like, oh, that's so cool. That's crazy. And also crazy. They didn't use that as the haunted house.
Like, you know, the creepy house. But that house was just, oh, that was, I love that house. So start up for the question I wanted to ask you. So, Jake, watch this for the first time this week.
He's went through his whole life. The Berblis. I've heard of him. Berblis.
What was your experience? Because I know when I'm messenger about this, I think this is going to be your type of humour. Because I thought this is kind of like, what are you out there? Salinas.
You're right, though. Like, because I do love stuff as well that like deals in like the mundane. Like, you know, because it's like that's really boring, like, you know, suburban life. But then they'll just like, you know, twist it so much.
Yeah. But yeah, like, I kind of knew roughly what to expect. Because I'm sure I've heard you guys talk about it before, being like a sort of dark, like twisted comedy thing. So I was kind of, and you know, the start of the music's creepy and stuff.
So it puts you in a good mood and all that. But no, I just loved it. Because it's very like, it's like totally American. Like everything from the sort of late 80s and 90s that everyone made fun of in like comedy shows.
Like, it's all here. Even the whole breakfast thing. Like, it's the trope of like, you know, the balanced American breakfast, but it's like fresh squeezed orange juice. Like, and she's like, I'm even going to eat any of this.
And he's like, no, I've got stomach things. Like, the kid would always take one bite and then run out the door. So I was like, yeah, they know all the tropes and just hit them all. Like, you know, throughout the movies.
Yeah. Totally perfect. And I love some of the product placement in the breakfast scene alone. Oh, yeah.
The Gremlins cereal. Was that a real cereal, by the way? I'm not sure because it was actually George Anthony, directed the Gremlins. And it's like, I don't know, it could be.
But I do love that aspect of it. Yeah, I hadn't hadn't made that connection until just now. But one of the garbage men isn't either guy from Gremlins. Yeah.
And one of what was gets like hound. He was also in, he was also in Chub and Mall, which I did recently for monsters. And I was kept sitting down on noise fears. Yeah.
I know who he is, but actually went, it's such and such from Gremlins. I went, oh, you do know I'm not a fan of the Gremlins. Like, I got like a really like, how did you not know this? Look, I was at a small soldier, only.
Yeah. I do love small soldiers. But it's interesting, you're seeing a boat like Dirk Miller, who was in it though, because if you look at the cast, it's filled with one of the greatest castes like comedy as well. But also, it's filled with people like who you kind of kind of recognize as well.
Like, I was from the eighties ago. I recognize him from clicking fingers going from that movie over there. But he might just be one stupid line or something. Yeah.
Yeah. There's one actor. Did you recognize him at the end? He was the policeman.
He was the detective who gives him the list of you've done X, Y, and did you recognize who that is? No. It's Rans Howard. Right, OK.
It's the father of Ron Howard. Interesting. I would have looked at him about when he looks like Howard. You look like a hound.
I'm all the director of Richard Cunningham. I don't know what this is always in a lot of the quizzes and pop culture references as well. One of the most famous dogs in movie history as well. No, I thought it was just by the way it was running about.
And that's the Batman Returns dog. It is the Batman Returns dog. And it's the dog from Silence of the Arms. The dog was in Peewings Big Adventure as well.
Yeah. He's just dead though. Of course. I want to be a scene animal from a 90s movie.
I'm sorry they're old. Sorry. You are exactly the same as my wife. When we watch a film like from the eighties or tellers of the cat, a dog and the lady is a cat.
Oh, I said no. Yep. I do exactly the same. And the cast is absolutely amazing.
Bruce Stone. And Jake, I was at you today. Jake, you said can't believe that I still alive. Everyone in this cast, apart from Rance Howard, is a lot of Rance Howard.
We're carrying pictures. Not. I'm going to keep forgetting Kerry's dead. Kerry's dead.
Sorry. Yeah. We'll also get to the end of the world. I was thinking last night.
I was like, because I knew Rick Duncanum, who plays art. I knew he had died. And I was thinking, Oh, for a, you know, that's a pretty decent decent cast who's like still alive. I always forget that Kerry Fisher is no longer with us.
And Kerry Fisher, who decided in this movie to wear a wig. Or her own hair. Or her own hair. But then the top of the piercet of the after it's going about the end.
Yeah. Yeah. It was exactly the same. She wore a wig of her own hair.
Right. OK. I didn't know about the one I knew it was a wig, but. It was her.
It was her hair. Right. Stagel. It was no difference in a crazy lady.
What was lovely, what I was reading about this movie, what is absolutely lovely. Corey Feldman, who was in this film, was going, this is the period of time where everything's going a bit wrong. And the Kerry Fisher, Wendy Shaw, and George Anté became his support mechanism. Right.
They kind of protected him. Everyone on this film got on Sawwell. Tom Hanks had an absolute The Last Doin' This Movie that at the end he bought everyone presents, because he just thought that it was such a great experience. And he didn't get Wendy Shaw.
Right. He didn't understand her performance. He was such a well-handed presence. He went, oh, get you.
Put his being lovely working with you. And left it at last. Yeah. The play of the sort of like the silly sort of like blonde bimbo thing.
The play had a bit straight. Like it's not as wacky as it could be. Yeah. But she's pretty great.
Isn't she like an American dad? Yeah. She got the job for American dads because Seth MacFarlane was a big fan of this movie and went, and we all named him. We hate all of us.
And that's how she kind of got the job for it. But yeah, the kind of kid became like a protection firm and kind of made sure it was okay. And Michael Jackson used to visit the set of laws. Bubbles was a regular on set.
Don't let bubbles lose them. It was a regular on set. That's where the schools came from. But by all it comes this production, everything was the majority of it's all shut at night because they are doing it on a universal back launch.
You can, there's a scene in it during the day where you've been actually here someone in the background to help and help. Yeah. It's from someone in the jaws ride. Oh my god.
John, John, John, you loved it so much. He's like, I'm actually keeping that in there. Yeah. I love that aspect as well.
Because it is a very close set. It's like a kind of movies that could have expanded or moved out like them a lot more but with a being about a street that kept it so enclosed in that street and just done it over like a few things. And again, just to get this bit out of the way because I think it's important to say this movie was very much of its time as well. I think a lot of the language or jokes or comments towards the female characters is not very keeping with the now.
The way that's like a lot of wife jokes and like, yeah, I know I want to listen to the wife. Like all that stuff. No, I hadn't noticed until you said that. It was all just kept on the one.
Well, and kept in the one street because even later on when they show the cars, it's just like to the end of the street. Yeah, you're like, this street. I didn't even pick up on any of like any any difference in language is to what would be acceptable. It's not as bad as it could be.
It's not as bad as it could be. But I did notice that like, you know, is wife and stuff don't really get anything to do. And the way that I think really speaks to like Carl Curry Fisher in it. Again, it's that way out of lost half me face.
You would not be here. Yeah, it's not being here anymore. You would not be watching. It's like, she kind of doesn't react.
They're like, he really is like crushing the cans. And she's like, oh, you feel better than he's like, it's in the original script. Really lost his job. Right.
He wants to be a case and he's lost his job. And there is still some aspects to it kind of put in there. But and this is half the reason why there's so much tension is that she knows. But he doesn't know she knows.
Yeah. Right. And so the kind of kept that in there in the in the original script, he died. Oh, and the explosion.
No, in the in the amylance. Right. He dies. I don't think I needed that.
I don't know. No, one joke. One joke that's George Anthony comes into this pretty much straight away after it's being written and went. I love it.
However, the level of comedy that you want to bring isn't going to land, especially with the person that you want to cast because the really Tom Hanks was the most. Yeah. It's like, you can't kill Tom Hanks. So maybe we should rethink the ending of it.
Tom Hanks kind of had a little bit of trepidation about doing this movie because he didn't want to play a dad. He didn't want to be tightcast as the dad. Right. It's not very dad like, you know, he's very, very popular.
He doesn't interact with these songs. He does quite quickly. No, it literally does at one point. Like, this should rise to the car back.
And he's not in it. What? Yeah. Oh, it's a medicine.
It didn't meet the credential. And it's interesting what you said about the cast because watching this now, the cast is very much another since came out in 1989, but it felt very much the 80s. And we'll just talk before we went live about certain other people like John Gandhi. I can see certain like I'm not had other people in mind, but like, certain characters in this movie for actors or people who were big during the 80s, that would have kind of had them in mind.
Like the art, like the written and done in character, I think would have been John Gandhi perfectly. I think that would have been, like, I know I'm not saying he did a bad job. No, no, Rick doesn't amaze in Java in this movie. Oh, yeah.
I love Jim. I think he was like my favorite character. Like, I didn't want him to like, you know, I love everything about him. I love the way he talks.
Yeah. He's part like the Canadian. It wasn't one of those ones. No, I think he just said he's one of those actors that appeared in certain movies and like, he's like, like a B movie, like, not a B movie, like, like, bad movies.
It's like, you got the main star and you got your headliners and then he was like, and a silly friend. Yeah, he's the person I thought could have been like, casting this, like, just because a lot of people own like Bruce Down, like the Mark character. Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris for Lloyd. That's all I kept on pitching and watching.
Chris, Chris, Chris, Lloyd was in this movie. Do you know what I would love? You know, John Gandhi definitely being in this comedy out of him because Bruce Down is, he doesn't push it far enough. No.
For me, there's something quite lacking. Like, he gets this kid into my headlock and he's like, I'll spend 10 years in the bush. I could snap your neck into it. There's no, I just feel like he's going to give his head a pass.
Like, there's nothing. I don't feel like, I don't feel like he did it. He pushed it too far and I think Gandhi could have really got in there and like, really brought a physical element to where they would have made it even more hilarious. Bruce Down's not a standout in this for me.
I quite liked him. I liked him too. I liked him because like, he starts off scary, but he falls off the roof. I had me in cotton.
He was like, great. I was done well. Oh, sorry. I've got Richard and Puneham's wicker period.
He's got his tattoo. And it was also in scary movie. He played a dad. Oh, I don't remember that.
I will have seen that. But I can't. He's just one of his in goni molly, goni crack. Yeah.
Right. OK. Yeah. He's always just being a this is kind of almost like his.
He does. This is the level of comedy that you get from him. Like, he's in groundhog day all for like five minutes. And even in that he's got some funny chops about him.
But the credits that he I can see is just a bit player that he's not he's not me and character. And I feel like this movie might have been the one where he was the main, you know, he was on screen for such a long time. Yeah. I love him though, because he's like, everyone knows a guy like this who like he can always like get a special deal somewhere or he's like, you know, curtain, twitch, you know.
I think this is why I think I love this movie is so much like I loved it as a kid because of how silly it was. I loved it even more as an adult because we all know a situation or people around you that's like these people or had these things kind of happened. My grandmother blessed us all before she passed. She used to sit out of front window, blinds over and just watching the street.
Just watching the street go by. People watching people watching. I think this is the ultimate people watching movie because of it. Taking to another level where they are literally breaking into people's houses.
Yeah. Everyone's only just one step away from doing something is really taking us. It just takes one bad idea to do that level as well. That's what I was thinking of you Paul because you always have these grand sort of plans to relax when you have time.
The window just looking at people. No, no, it just doesn't work out for him. Like, you know, the universe just says no, you're not allowed to have a relaxation. Oh, I like a lot of aspect.
I was laughing. I was laughing. I was like, oh, but Tom hangs character in this rear is complete Berlin. I can see it's one of those things.
He's not a nice guy in this film. I don't think. No, but is your plastic stressed out like working dad is really like the eight he's dad who's like, you know, he's got a job like we don't even hear about. We kind of know what he's doing.
You may be tell by the base attitude of what kind of person he actually is. I was in. I'm good as well now. I'm not bothered.
We didn't get a single to this. Maybe I wanted a prequel now of what happened with the ice cream. That's fucking amazing. Well, in 2024, it was picked up for our TV show.
Right. Okay. With Kiki Palmer, it's looking to be headlined in it. And it's going to be produced by Seth MacFarlane.
All right. Interesting. So there's discussion, Peacock ordered a series adaptation of the film from Universal Content Productions, Kiki Palmer is headlined in the series. Well, Brian Grisio and Seth MacFarlane produced and via Invigent Entertainment and Physi-Doll Productions.
So that was as of 2024. So you might get to know about it. I mean, this is a classic story. It's pretty much like a rewindal really, isn't it?
It is really, it is. Yeah. The comparison is, it's just in a rewindal. Jimmy Stewart doesn't get out of the chair to do anything.
Whereas Ray did. Yeah. The next three. Yeah.
And it's been parodied in so many things. Like the Simpsons have done it like loads of himes and like not just the tropes, not specific verbs stuff. But like the same for aspects, like the digging up the back of that night was just fucking hilarious and cool. So I was like, how crazy was that?
But done so well. But it's like, there's so many switches, but there's a lot of bit and switches in this movie as well because a lot of people credit like movies like the Sixth Sense or usual suspects to give us these twist endings or twist movies. There's that many twists in this movie. It's surprising you don't get whiplash at times.
It's like, oh, yeah. Me guessing like the entire way through because I was like, well, surely when the find the furnace will see something and that's kind of like a non-start. But everything's in there. If you find out later on, like if you just opened that door, everything was in there.
I totally forgot when I was watching it last night. I was like, I can't remember how this and how we did. I remember getting into the ambulance, which again is improved where he picks up the goony and she'll end live down. Yeah, that's all I blew up.
I blew up. I know well, I know well. And yeah, I couldn't remember what happened. I knew he gets in the ambulance but I was like, how does he get arrested?
I can't remember that part. And then when he started saying what did you see? What did you see in my furnace? I was like, oh, Dr.
Colbeck being old sinister. Was he in Buffy? I think yes, he's been in everything. I mean, in the 90s and stuff.
He was cast because of his stature and the fact that he can pull off Dapper. Oh, he did absolutely does. I love what he's introduced right. And he was my brother, the doctor.
Yeah, that guy is so creepy as well. Like the uncle, whatever or something. It's so Frankenstein. It's like, as in like the Boris Karl of Frankenstein.
Yeah, you're right. Actually, and then the sun's a bit e-go-esque, you know, like creeping about at night and stuff like that. You know who the sun is? It's corny gains.
And who was Malachi in the 84 Georgia of the corn. All right, intra. I got a shock with it. You know, when he's doing when he's putting stuff in the bin, you can see him getting angry at angry at angry at.
That was real. He was getting so angry at Georgia. They didn't say it could. He just got the camera on and just sat back and watched him and was like, what's he doing?
And then he's like, I'm watching that's why perfect. We're going to keep that. Yeah. I don't think he was in Buffy.
Sorry, I'm just looking now. No, he's not. Oh, OK. He was in some like TV show like that.
I just feel like he's been in that. Yeah. You know, I'm not saying Buffy so. But like, I love like, I love the escalation of this though because it does start off like proper like really subtle way.
Like, I don't know. There's some weird noises and he kind of steps on the property line and make that joke. Like, you know, everything is a piece of so. And it looks like, as I said, the pack of the key in with that as well.
When he's here. Come on, I want to me. I have the water. It gets fighted over the air as well.
It's all like cartoonish as well. Like, they're like probably holding the bus. Like characters getting through. Yeah.
How he spits one out of his mouth as well. Like, that looked real. And I like just had it be in his mouth the full time. Do you know what I'm sitting here earlier on?
And I was like, oh, god, this is a cast that's like still around today. It's dead. Don't look at the dead . Listen, sorry.
Henry Gibson, who played the doctor, died in 2009. I mean, it was great. Oh, it was great. He was great.
And his credits are one real mind. And but yeah, sorry. That's just, that's me. That's me.
That's me. I thought he was alive. You're the lady of death. You should be used to people dying for your sins.
Um, but yeah, everything about, like I said, the base same was class. Um, when they found the born again, the human was this, but then I think what comes down with, like, as I said, there's a lot of bad lib, but the timing in this movie is to perfection. And as JX said, it keeps your guessing, keeps your hanging on. Is it bad?
Is it good? Like, what's going on? Is it just like playing tricks on the mind? Is it tricking us?
And I think the time I think I've got, like, I know what's happening, but then you don't really is when Walter gets out the car again at the end. And you just kind of hold me at mistake. This is always going to be like sort awkward and how it's going to be. I was expecting that twist, at least, but then they are not some of the other ones.
But yeah, that was the part as well. I was thinking like, oh, because the sort of old army guy, you think he's like hates everyone in the street, but then as soon as he thinks someone's been killed by like outsiders, he probably goes into like street defence mode, doesn't he? Like, and he's actually, he's on board suddenly and he's like, oh, we're going to sort this out. You know, nobody calls the police because it doesn't be funny if the day like that's.
I love when they go on the vault this house and he's like, there's been a struggle. He was the chair over one chair. Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure he was left on as well.
And that just really silly moment where he's like, obviously, Art's gone in the fridge and Corey just like smashes through the plate with the door and they're just like, okay, it's time to leave. It's like, well, he's a theatre. But then Art starts trying to next up as well. Like, well, it's like, he's not going to need any more.
It's like, why? And they don't hear anything about like, I didn't think about it till the end when the like, your wife's come back and you have some fire. He's like, my wife? I mentioned that the whole movie that just hadn't really thought about it.
I love the fact that Art doesn't like wave it in the slightest throughout or even when he's kind of like met with almost evidence that they were just, you know, neighbours, we should just, yeah, they were just normal. We the bad guys and are like, no, not by any. Not by any. And like, yeah, I think that's the thing though.
It's like his character, like, he doesn't have anything else in his life apart from making up these stories. Yeah. Tell you what, they're about the street. I'm not going to lie.
I thought it would be hilarious. Yeah. They're all like, it's one of them. Like, sometimes in a comedy like this, you would get some really horrible characters, you know, like, especially in like 90s comedies.
This would be different. These guys, like, all seem to kind of like each other, even if this sort of annoying at times. But there's no one who's like evil apart from the thing. Yeah.
He's like, all the like, he's so polite. Like, Mr Peterson, Mrs Peterson. And he's yeah, he's just he's oh, I do like I really like for development in this. And like, it's not to think that at this time he was going through some like really personal shit because it doesn't show in the slightest in his performance.
No, I don't think what I loved about his character in this movie and the reason we're kind of, I think they put him in there as well. He was us. He was like, he was like, like the demonstration, like he is the viewer. He is like the outside and not like almost like kind of showing us how to react or how to behave to this.
Well, when he's got the girl over for the deer. And she's like, oh, that's what's the movie. It's got no, this is better than a movie. Come and watch this.
And it's like by everything's like going like clockwork. There's Mr Peterson. He's going over there. I have a sneaky cigar.
Then they're going to do this and that's happened. And then we'll get the the like, see the guy who starts popping up the trash can in the most hilarious thing. We have a and again, David pointed out it's the most strange thing who drives the car from the garage to the trash can and to button like the zero sense. Yeah, I'm just like, I don't think I've ever seen anything like that.
I love that aspect because a lot of movies it kind of treats us like we're stupid. And it's like, oh, and this has happened because it's a movie. But they're like, even point out, they're like, this is like the stupid other prisoners like, and even like when he's like climbed up the pole and scared, I've done this many times, it's going to be fine. And it's like, shocks themselves.
And you think, oh, that's the gag. But it appears on multiple times during that aspect. Like, let's break in. We got the wallet.
It gets the cards out. Everything's melted in the cards. We're called back. And later on the straight when everything's in dark is like this one aspect that happened.
It appears off numerous times through the full. Yeah. And I thought the physical comedy of that climb in the pool, it was like the way drops drops as instructions. It looked like so natural though, because everyone's done that when you're doing some DIY and you just like drop the screws that you're holding, like as soon as you get up there and things like that, just apart from survival in the fall, it was very realistic.
Yeah, the physical comedy in this is absolutely great. There's something about that. I've kind of grown or appreciated like slapstick physical comedy. And I mean, I just find it quite annoying.
And now I'm kind of seeing the funny side of it. I think because it's on that back lot thing and then know that you can just like run and jump over the bushes and so like, you know, like they don't have to be careful because it's just like a, you know, it's made to be like, you know, someone's house or street or something. Yeah. We found it, I think.
Yeah. Yeah. Well, we've got me when I knew it was a backlog and I was in the house floor was up at the end. I was like, oh, oh, that's all getting used again.
I love the shot as well. And like the sort of all of the second level falls down when they're both like stood in front of it and they kind of don't even react to it. It's just like, it's just great. Like, it's a good shot.
That house is lovely, though. I love that house. That's creepy, Sammy. Got a giant furnace pipe.
One thing is in mention, though. And again, I'm watching it today. The made is a bit sad. The blew the house up.
Where was the dog? Ah, yeah, the dog does disappear at some point. Which dog? The big dog.
Yeah. Oh, we want to hope it's in the car. Yeah. That would be sad.
That would be really sad. Even though all the dogs also, how much of a pro actor is Tom Hanks for eating that sardines. That's not anything. Oh, he just puts it right in there.
The entire thing. Oh. And the adult is squishy. No, he's over the top of it.
