Subway Snatch Attempt Foiled by Card | Spokane News

A six-year-old girl was nearly snatched in an Upper Manhattan subway station on July 29, as a stranger lunged for her while her mom held their baby and her brother waited nearby. The suspect, wearing a light blue hat, big sunglasses, and a black-and-white patterned shirt, tried to pull the child through a turnstile — but her own card failed to scan, foiling the attempt. She fled onto a downtown A train, leaving the terrified girl screaming for help. The NYPD has released surveillance photos, urging anyone who recognizes her to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. The little girl is still traumatized and refuses to ride the trains — and her family is desperate for answers. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
