You need both to become the best injector you can be. Treatment design is where you assemble all those techniques in perfect execution.(4) The aesthetic - learn the nuanced skill of understanding the aesthetic - the ability to understand what it is that makes someone look sad, angry, or beautiful. What's the aesthetic goal? Technical good injections don't guarantee aesthetically beautiful results.(5) Anatomy & physiology - knowing all the layers and structures and how they all work together are KEY to developing outstanding treatment designs and understanding how the products you're using will behave over time.  The face is always moving so we have to learn to think in terms of 'dynamic beauty'(6) Complications - how to avoid complications is the best lesson but when things do go wrong to understand how to identify and then manage the consequences safely and quickly(7) Patient psychology - the consultation!
