Success: Sacrifice

Hello, My grandpa used to always say that in order to achieve or gain something, you need to sacrifice something. At that young age some 5 decades back, I could never understand what he meant by this. I understood the deeper, philosophical and psychological meaning of his statement when I read an autobiography called "Long Walk to Freedom".
