Success through Hardships (Matt 26.36-46) - 1-30-22

Scripture texts are 1Samuel 30.1-8 and Matthew 26.36-46. The topic is “Success through Hardships.”As we conclude this month’s theme on success, we want to deal with the difficulties of success. How many of you know that success is not a straight-line journey? The highs can be exhilarating, and the lows can be paralyzing. But if we know challenges and hardships will come, we can better prepare ourselves to overcome them. We can have success through hardships if we:1. Realize that everyone cannot go where you have been called to go. (vv36-39)2. Recognize that even your inner circle may not fully grasp the heaviness of your burdens. (vv40-43)3. Resolve in your soul and spirt to follow the LORD’s guidance no matter what! (vv44-46)Hardships and challenges are a part of life. Again, success is not a straight-line journey. Joh 16:33 ESV “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." Jer 29:11 NIV For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.God wants us successful. But we must do it His way. We all need a nevertheless moment. Here’s what I want LORD. Nevertheless, not my will but Your will be done. This is how achieve success through hardships. Amen!
