Successful… or Significant?

In this message, Perry Greene contrasts worldly success with lasting significance, using stories from James Dobson and John Rich to show how achievements, recognition, and material gains often fade without leaving an eternal impact. It emphasizes that success focuses on personal accomplishment, while significance is measured by service, influence, and obedience to God. Drawing on the teachings of Jesus and examples like George Washington, the message argues that true greatness comes not from what we gain, but from what we give and the lives we shape. It concludes that while success is temporary, a life aligned with God’s purposes—marked by justice, mercy, and humility—creates lasting, eternal significance.
