Sime Sandhu graduated in 2001 with a bachelors in aviation science and then went on to fly as a commercial pilot both in Canada and India. In 2009 he returned permanently to Canada, frustrated with the lifestyle of the aviation industry. With an interest in business, he took over his parents' pizza restaurant, retiring them in the process.
