Welcome to Episode 108!  Summer is right around the corner and Mark & Casey are gearing up.  The calendar is filling up, the clothes are getting lighter, and the port vintage is flowing.  The Boys are in rare form this week, so grab some port vintage, because it's time to paint!

Kicking off this week's episode, Mark & Casey are discussing the highlights of their week.  Casey & Miss Jeffrey have been busy with a couple of dinner parties.  One with an old friend whom he has not been able to spend much time with of late and his partner as well.  They had a lovely dinner and enjoyed reconnecting.  The other is a monthly double dinner date where one of the two couples taking turns hosting and cooking.  Then Mark had a short trip to the cabin in the woods to start prepping the place for the summer.  Over the course of a few hours on Saturday, there was more at play than just readying the place for summertime fun.  How so and what was happening?  You'll have to listen to find out!

Then it is on to the Mid-Section.  It may still be Spring but Summer is officially right around the corner.  In fact, this weekend marks the unofficial start to summer season in the USA.  The Boys have some thoughts (you knew they would) and are ready to discuss a few highs but more the low lights  of the summertime and some of the things they are not looking forward to. It becomes a spirited discussion as Summer is traditionally the highlight season of the year where residents try to soak up as much as they can before returning indoors.  What do you dislike about summer? What do you look forward to?   How does your list compare??  Take a listen!

Next up it's everyone's favorite segment... Trash Talk!  Kicking things off this week, Painted Trash Podcasts's correspondent for the Depp/ Heard trial is here with an update of this week's update where a legend takes to the stand and one hugely important participant in the trial is letting her distaste for the proceedings be clearly known.  Then Mark has the story out of WI, with a new Guiness World Record holder.  What did they accomplish?  It's tough to believe the achievement, but it' s been verified and accepted.  Finally, closing out this week's Trash Talk, The Boys bringing you some punditry after a lawmaker finds a written message and calls the police out of fear and need of protection.  Who is involved? What did the message read? What did the police and town do?  You won't believe this one!

Lastly, in this week's recommendation Mark is recommending a new docuseries now streaming where you get to put the pieces together to determine who is at fault in the legal cases presented. Then Casey is recommending a new comedy import from across the pond, now streaming.

This week has us thinking summer after all those cold, snowy winter days and nights and Mark & Casey are getting us ready for the coming season.  So put on a sheer sleeve shirt and pour some of your favorite port vintage!  It's time to paint on and all new, Painted Trash!
