Summary of the StoryNineteen-year-old Elara lives a lonely, isolated life on her family's struggling rye farm. She forms a deep, parental bond with Pip, an orphaned lamb she bottle-fed and raised. One day, instead of taking his bottle, Pip begins aggressively suckling on Elara's thick wool jumper. Spurred by the complete isolation of the farm and an impulse to comfort the animal, Elara chooses not to stop him.Support the show
