He gives an in-depth explanation of the the sophistication of Yolŋu language, and its immense power in understanding original medical, legal, and economic systems. He discusses the failings of mainstream English language education, the traditional courts and original higher education systems in Arnhem Land, and how it is crucial to teach higher levels of Yolŋu language for a comprehensive cultural understanding.
