I’ve had the opportunity to see this young man grow and develop from a teenager through to the man he’s become today. It’s been a true pleasure being part of his journey and to see him do what he loves doing. He has not shared much about his journey as an asylum seeker and a refugee on any platforms. With me he delves into some of his darkest moments as a child and a teenager. The trauma that he had to experienced from being a victim of war, persecution and discrimination to go on a 18 days ocean journey to now survive but also to thrive in our country of Australia.
