Sue Perkins arrives at Dr Joe’s office carrying the weight of a relentlessly busy life - filming, touring, creating - and leaves having quite literally taken it out on him. As she attempts to unwind, Sue recounts a life lived at full tilt: hallucinogenic trips in South America, being shot at point-blank range, and a brain that never seems to switch off. It’s a whirlwind of stories that makes slowing down feel like an alien concept. Somewhere along the way, Joe realises he’s learning more than he ever has from a guest - even if that education includes alarming facts about ducks and owls and an improv lesson he won't be forgetting for a while. Naturally, the session builds to one of Joe’s boldest exercises yet.
