Suffering and the Fight of Faith - Clint Byars

Not everything that happens is part of God’s plan. Angels rebel, people sin, and death spreads. These things happen because God gave us free will. As a result we see great suffering. But you don’t have to embrace all suffering. The only suffering God endorses is the persecution of faith. All other suffering, like depression, sickness, and loss are in the world through the destruction we’ve caused. God has made us great and precious promises to partake of his divine nature, we can fight to believe for those promises, even in the midst of suffering.
