Sullinger Returns to Buckeyes | Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball News

Ohio State just brought back one of its basketball legends—Jared Sullinger, a two-time All-American and Final Four hero—is now joining the program as Director of Player Development. Alongside fellow former Buckeye William Buford, Sullinger’s return signals Coach Jake Diebler’s strategy to rebuild with deep program ties. Sullinger, who played in the NBA and recently retired, brings elite experience and a proven track record, including leading Ohio State to a Final Four and averaging 17 points and 9 rebounds per game. This move aims to leverage past success to elevate the current roster and reinforce the Buckeyes’ winning culture.
