Sullivan Reconnects, Builds Momentum | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Shane Sullivan, the standout long snapper from Syracuse’s summer camp, returned to campus for a thrilling game-day experience—even though the Orange fell short 21-18 against Cal. His first-ever visit to the JMA Wireless Dome was packed with reconnecting moments: catching up with fellow long snappers Franny Brown and Tim Schwerha before the game, then watching them shine on the field. He also reconnected with special teams coaches Alex Bayer and William Coale, reinforcing the strong relationships he’s building. Now at Cheshire Academy, Sullivan gears up for his season opener this Saturday against Taft School, embracing the challenge of starting on the road. With his unwavering work ethic as his foundation, he’s proving that dedication—not just talent—fuels lasting success in football.
