Summer Announcement

Hey everyone! Life got in the way this past week or so, which means that our episode won't come out until a little later this week. We're also switching to a bi-weekly (one per fortnight) format for our longer episodes with minisodes on alternating weeks. Between research, watching the movies, recording and editing (plus both our full time jobs and art) each episode takes a long time to make and we really don't want to skimp on quality in favor of quantity! Our minisodes will be similar to the Awakening the Zodiac episode (but 20-30 minutes hopefully unless I talk too much!), and will also give us the freedom to talk about some of our favorite horror movies, current true crime events, etc! We hope you enjoy our new format and we look forward to your feedback! (And sorry for the late episode!) Based on a True Crime is a podcast where Chelsea’s love of true crime and David’s love of horror movies intersect. Each week we will be discussing murders and/or mysteries, along with the pop culture they have spawned. Find us at our website and on Instagram @basedonatruecrime, Twitter @truecrimebased and Facebook @basedonatruecrime. If you'd like to see David's art and see what else we're up to in the art world, follow Lab Creature Art Studio on Instagram @labcreature. Our podcast intro music, called Spray paint it Gold by Little Glass Men can be found here. The music track was edited for length. Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
