Summer Break {22}

👇In this episode, we’re diving into summer break! In the first part, we’ll explore the history of this long vacation and how different countries approach it in very different ways. In the second part, we’ll talk to Karen Gadasi Russo. Karen is actually my aunt. She lives in Kibbutz Ginosar near the Sea of Galilee — but more importantly, she’s a mom to three teenage boys, which means she knows summer break very well. Karen will share some personal stories from her family’s summer vacation and offer great tips — like how to save money during the break, what to do especially with older kids, and much more! Ah, and she’ll also answer the interesting question of why Israelis prefer to fly abroad in the summer instead of taking a vacation at a hotel in Israel — do you know the answer?So tune in — this is going to be a hot and super interesting episode! 🎧 If you enjoy programs like VOA News or Spotlight Radio, you'll probably enjoy this too — same clear style, but in Hebrew 🇮🇱 🗣️ This video is ideal for beginner to intermediate Hebrew learners. I explain the stories in clear Hebrew and translate difficult words into English and Spanish 🇬🇧🇪🇸. 🙋‍♂️ Want to support the podcast?
