Dance Club / Club Fusion — Summer Heat 2024 is our annual season-ready mix, assembled to showcase the best in contemporary dance, house, tech house and club-ready edits. This year’s set was unusually difficult to compile; after a two-week hiatus and a long cull of mediocre promos, a late wave of strong releases rescued the playlist and let us lock in a tighter, more energized flow. Highlights include Pink Panda’s rework of Martha Wash’s “Catch The Light,” a supersonic diva-house moment that reshaped the set, plus high-impact turns from Basement Jaxx (Scruz Remix), CamelPhat & Nadia Ali, John Summit (Sisco Kennedy remix), Tiësto & Alana Springsteen and Kesha (David Michael Club Mix). The mix skews across tempos and subgenres but keeps a club-first focus, favoring powerful vocals and peak-time edits that landed with us after weeks of trimming and rearranging.
