Summer in the Psalms - My God in Whom I Trust

Psalm 91 presents a powerful choice about who we will ultimately trust in life's uncertainties. The psalmist declares God as his refuge and fortress, inviting us into intimate spiritual closeness where we can find safety in God's presence. While healthy fear protects us, paralyzing anxieties about finances, relationships, or social situations need to be addressed through our relationship with God. God offers special protection for those following His mission, using angels and supernatural strength to support His work. Rather than trying to change entire cultures, we can faithfully serve God in our spheres of influence - our homes, workplaces, and communities. When we choose to love God back, He promises to answer our calls, be with us in trouble, and satisfy us with His salvation.
