Summer Rental

This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana welcome Stacey and Adrianne back on the podcast to discuss the 1985 comedy Summer Rental.  John Candy takes the family to the beach for the summer, and he pisses Richard Crena off, so now they have to rumble beach-style.  That's right, it's a boat race.  This movie has some promise, but it seems to fall a little flat.   Rip Torn and Joey (Whoa) Lawrence are along for the ride.  John Larroquette appears for a second in an obvious plot point that got dropped and might have made the movie better.  There might have been an issue with too many people with hangovers participating in this podcast (both on the screen and in the studio).  Enjoy the podcast.Jason, Andy and Dana will discuss a 1986 movie weekly, breaking down all the nonsense there within.
