Summer Series // The Rich Young Ruler [Mark 10:17-22] (Billy Hanna)

This week, Billy Hanna looks at the Rich Young Ruler from Mark 10. Through this passage, Billy looks at 3 key points - The righteous discernment of Christ (v17-21); The tragic delusion of the young ruler (v22); The contrasting response of Zaccheus (Luke 19); He discusses the difficulty of evangelism and how Christ was able to discern this man and share what is relevant to him. However, even through all of this, Billy looks at how the young ruler was so quick to make the sad decision not to pursue Christ fully. Billy challenges us to view this passage and look at how we're trying to fill the voids in our life. As Billy closes, he discusses the similarities and contrasts of the story of Zaccheus from Luke 19 and challenges us to consider which of these two we look more like.
