I promise that I love you for the rest of my life. They obviously hadn't had any experience in the music industry. So they brought in some people who did. And one of those people was Ed Sheeran.
And I love Ed Sheeran. His music makes me think of Summer. I love, love, love listening to his music. He's actually going on tour, the mathematics tour.
I believe he's going to be in Seattle on August 26th. I could be wrong, though, but it's around that time. And I'm so excited to go. Me and my whole family are going.
We love Ed Sheeran. We went to his Divide tour, and we're so excited to see him perform and see his openers. They're going to be great. Khalid and Maisie Peters, they're going to be awesome.
I'm so excited to see this. And I thought it would be fun to play Sing by Ed Sheeran. I love that song. There's just something about Ed Sheeran's music that makes me think of Summer.
And it's just outstanding, and I love listening to it. The next song I'm going to play also makes me think of Summer. Obviously, that's what this whole episode is about. It's by the band Sunroom.
I love them so much. I actually discovered them because they opened for Louis Tomlinson when he was in Seattle. And I love their music. It was so cool when we were live.
And I immediately went home and wrote down their name in my phone and listened to their music. It was so good. And I've been following them ever since. And I'm so excited to see what other stuff they come out.
But I want to play one of their earlier songs, a classic. It's called Clementine. So yeah, here's Clementine by Sunroom. I love that song.
It's so fun. The next song I want to play, I actually haven't heard it in a while, but I was listening to this radio station, KMH-89, The Bridge, last week. And I heard this song play, and I was like, oh my gosh, I love that song. Why are we listening to it more?
Or why am I not listening to it more? So I immediately put it at the top of my playlist on my phone so I remember to listen to it. And it makes me so happy. So I'm going to play it now.
Here's Coming Home by Shepard. That song is so fun. I love it. Okay, this next song I'm going to play is by the band Cage the Elephant.
I actually discovered them in 2020 when COVID was hitting its peak. I was really trying to find new music to listen to when I discovered this band. I actually knew them before because of their song Cigarette Daydream, so I hadn't actually taken the time to explore their other music and listen to what other songs they've released. But I did that in 2020, and I'm so happy I did because I discovered some amazing songs that I love listening to.
I have a playlist that's mainly Cage the Elephant along with a couple of their bands, but I love them. I love their music. I feel like it's a very unique sound, and I really appreciate listening to it. So here's one of my favorite songs by them.
It's called Ain't No Rest for the Wicked. Now, the next song I want to play is from one of my mom's favorite bands, Little Big Town. She loves them. I love them.
My sister loves them. My whole family just appreciates their music. My mom specifically loves them because of their harmonies, and I agree. Their harmonies are incredible, and they just tickle my brain in the right way.
They're just very satisfying, and I love listening to it. They're actually coming on tour. They're going on tour with George Stray and Chris Stapleton, and I believe they're going to be in Seattle in July, mid-July, I want to say. I'm not 100% sure, but I know they're coming, and I really want to go.
We have family friends who are obsessed with country music and stuff, and so I've been trying to get my parents to get us tickets so we can all go together, but so far it hasn't happened, but I have faith. I have faith. It's going to happen. We'll do it.
So this is Driving Around by Little Big Town. Driving around, just me and all my best friends around. I love that song. It's so good.
It makes me so happy, and it makes me just want to dance. Like, I don't even know how to explain it. Like, there are just certain songs that you just get up and you start dancing to because they're so good, and that is definitely one of them. This next song I'm going to play because I am 17 right now, and this song mentions being 17, and I really am going to embody it because I want to be the dancing queen.
I love that song. My sister and I grew up on ABBA. My family on my mom's side absolutely adores the movie Mamma Mia, and we listen to it all the time. We watch that movie whenever we're, like, with our grandparents for, like, a multiple day period because it's just, like, it's just, like, kind of a nostalgic movie at this point because we've been watching it for so long, and we have so many memories with it.
I love listening to it. Listening to ABBA always makes me think of memories, like, with my grandparents and stuff. It's just so special, and I love that song. It's so happy.
It makes me want to dance. I love it so much. Okay, I have one more song before the end of this episode, so I just want to say thank you so much for listening. I'm Ellie.
