SUMMER SOUNDTRACK 5: Amazing Grace

 Amazing Grace is more than a beloved hymn. It is a declaration of biblical truth rooted in the real life of John Newton, a former slave trader who experienced the transforming power of God's grace firsthand. The hymn walks through what grace actually does: it shows us who we are before God, produces a holy fear, and then relieves that fear through faith in Jesus Christ. God does not wait for us to clean up our lives before saving us. He saves sinners exactly as they are. His promises to those who are in Christ are secure, unchanging, and eternal. No matter what this life holds, those who belong to Him have been made new and will one day possess a life of joy and peace that nothing in this world can take away.
