Excited to kick off our Summer Stories series on In Her Words with the hilarious and inspiring Heather Hach! Heather Hach is an acclaimed screenwriter (Freaky Friday and What to Expect When You’re Expecting) and a Tony-nominated and Olivier Award-winning Broadway librettist (Legally Blonde the Musical). A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Journalism, Heather has enjoyed a diverse career, including roles as a magazine editor, improv comedy troupe member, and even a judge on MTV’s “The Search for the Next Elle Woods.” She has also worked as a P.A. on TV’s Caroline in the City and as a writer’s assistant on Dilbert. Heather’s career took a significant turn in 1999 when she won the Walt Disney Screenwriting Fellowship. Since then, she has continued to write, including co-authoring the YA novel Freaky Monday with Mary Rodgers.
