Summer with Encanto--Waiting on a Miracle

It is hard to wait for a miracle, for God to answer our prayers! Our hearts and minds are often a sea of chaos and confusion, yet God calls us to be still before him. The song "Waiting on a Miracle" from Disney's Encanto speaks of this struggle, but God's word speaks peace to our struggle. Pour it out to God, he is listening. Verses mentioned: Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in all the earth!"  2 Peter 3:8-9 "But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." Mark 4:39 "And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."
