Have you ever stopped and thought about how much of your self-image is based on what other people think of you? We all like to think that no one's opinion matters at all, but taken to the extreme, that would make us sociopaths. We ALL, to some extent, consider ourselves through the eyes of others. The real question, for Christians, is how much weight we give those other eyes depending on whose eyes they are. Who are we, and how should we think of ourselves, based on how God sees us?
