Sun. April 2nd, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: HE DIIED TO SAVE YOU, LIVE TO SERVE HIM.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Jesus died to save you. You're called today to live serving Him fervently for the rest of your life; a service you're to render to Him by serving others in a bid to secure their holistic salvation. He entered Jerusalem today triumphant to fulfil His destiny, led away to Calvary in humiliation to die the shameful death of the cross, yet arose from the dead victorious in order to save humanity. Ascending into heaven and sending us the promised Holy Spirit, He gives us the mandate and charge to carry on with His work of salvation; a mandate we can only discharge and fulfil by offering Him ourselves and our all in the service of humanity so as to bring about their holistic salvation. Hence, haven died to save you, He charges you now to live to serve Him for the rest of your life.
