As we enter the "home stretch" of our 21-day church-wide fast, it is important to examine once again the biblical value of fasting. Almost all major religions fast. Atheists fast. Political activists fast. We, as Christians, fast and PRAY! If our fasting is not accompanied by robust and sincere prayer, it is nothing more than a hunger strike or a rigorous form of self-discipline.
