We get into filming shootouts and violent scenes on an independent budget, and the importance of having badass women save the day.We had a packed house for One For the Road, as we welcomed director Baz Poonpiriya, and stars Ice Natara, Tor Leeratanakajorn, and Violette Wautier. We get into how this film is loosely based on Baz's personal  life, and the fun of shooting a story about friends on a redemption road trip through Thailand.  And to cap it off, we bring you our interview with director Ninja Thyberg of the film Pleasure, the story of a young Swedish woman who moves to LA in the hopes of becoming the world's next big porn star. To say this movie stays with you is putting it mildly. It's hard to watch, for all the right reasons, and we're happy to see an honest film about the female experience in the world of adult film. And breaking news, the film studio A24 just picked up this film so you'll get to see it for yourself in the near future.  It's not like Boogie Nights AT ALL. Buckle up folks, this is one hell of a ride.
