Sundance Head Accidental Shooting
from Hot Off - True Crime
Sundance Head, the winner of Season 11 of 'The Voice,' was involved in an accidental shooting incident on his Texas ranch. The incident occurred on Friday, November 15, when Head was reaching for his .22 caliber handgun, which was in its holster. As he grabbed the gun, it hit the exterior of his Jeep and discharged, shooting him in the stomach. Head managed to run to the main road to flag down a car after he couldn't find his phone to call 911. After several cars passed by, a good Samaritan stopped, called 911, and helped him get medical attention. He was airlifted to a hospital in Tyler, Texas. According to his wife, Misty Head, there is no internal damage from the bullet, and Sundance is in good spirits. She expressed gratitude for the quick response of the good Samaritan and the medical team[3][4][2].
