One of the greatest obstacles we face when it comes to moving forward into our future is Mark 1:27-28 -27 They were all amazed, so that they debated among themselves, saying, "What is this? We Desire Comfort Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. We Long for Control John 21:18-22 -  "Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to gird yourself and walk wherever you wished; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will gird you, and bring you where you do not wish to go." 19 Now this He said, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God.
