It’s a means of grace, a sign and seal of God’s covenant, a family meal and a foretaste of the feast to come. When we come to the Table, we don’t just remember Christ’s sacrifice, we actively participate in the grace He offers. This meal unites us as His people, strengthens our faith and assures us of His promises. And as we take the bread and the cup, we not only look back to the cross but forward to the day when we will feast with Him in glory. So come humbly, expectantly and joyfully, for Christ has died, Christ has risen, and Christ will come again!
