Luke traces His genealogy all the way back to Adam, showing that Jesus isn’t just Israel’s Messiah, He’s the Saviour of the whole world. While Adam’s failure brought sin and death, Jesus, the Second Adam, came to undo what was broken and bring life to all who belong to Him. His victory over temptation, sin and death means that in Him, we receive a new identity, a new family, and a new future. So the question isn’t just where you come from, it’s whose family you belong to. Are you still in Adam, or have you found new life in Jesus?
