Sunday Ambient #37
from Ambient Noodlings Hosted by Michael Connell
It’s Sunday and that means it’s time for some ambient jamming! Today’s tune is kind of upbeat with a structured “drum” track from the Moog DFAM. It’s fairly simple patch and sequence that came about from some late evening noodling. I love when something like this comes together with a little experimentation and I can sit back and relax with the results. Enjoy! Bonus Track Here’s a bonus track that slows the tempo a bit for an even more laid-back vibe. Patch Notes Voices: Mother 32 (M32), Grandmother (GM), DFAM * GM CLOCK OUT -> M32 TEMPO * M32 ASSIGN (CLOCK OUT) -> A-160-2 CLOCK IN * A-160-2 (/2) -> DFAM ADV/CLOCK * ENTROPY BROWN NOISE -> DFAM EXT AUDIO * DFAM PITCH -> DFAM NOISE LEVEL * DFAM VCF EG -> VCA CV * CHAOS X -> MISO -> M32 VCF CUTOFF * ZONE BF -> MISO -> GM CUTOFF IN The Tools All my gear is below. Not everything is necessarily used for each recording. I record live to my HS6 recorder. I have a DAW-less setup, although I do use GarageBand for normalization and creating a shareable audio file. * Moog Grandmother * Moog Subharmonicon * Moog Mother 32 * Moog DFAM * Eurorack * Doepfer A-145-4 LFO * Doepfer A-160-2 Clock Divider * Doepfer A-151 Seq Switch * Doepfer A-132 VCA * Zlob Chaos * Zlob Entropy * Super Synthesis EG Envelope * Eowave Zone B.F.
