Sunday Ambient #41
from Ambient Noodlings Hosted by Michael Connell
It’s Sunday - time to kick out a happy jam. This is a peppy little tune that largely utilizes the Moog Subharmonicon. That synth is becoming kind of a love/hate thing with me. It can be really frustrating to get something just right with it. I feel like it’s more a matter of taming it than playing it. Maybe that’s just me. I did get something I liked one evening and here it is. Headphones on and enjoy! Patch Notes Voices: Grandmother (GM), Subharmonicon (SH), DFAM * Grandmother runs an Arp sequence * Subharmonicon does its polyrhythm sequence thing * DFAM rhythm controlled by a Korg SQ-1 * Effects: Eventide Ultratap & Blackhole * GM CLOCK -> SH CLOCK * SH CLOCK -> A-160-2 CLOCK * A-160-2 (/2) -> SQ-1 SYNC IN * SQ-1 GATE A -> DFAM ADV/CLOCK * DFAM VCF EG -> DFAM VCA CV * SH SEQ 2 -> SH RHYTHM 1 * CHAOS X -> MISO -> GM ENV AMT IN * CHAOS Y -> MISO -> SH CUTOFF * CHAOS Z -> MISO -> GM CUTOFF The Tools All my gear is below. Not everything is necessarily used for each recording. I record live to my HS6 recorder.
