Sunday Ambient #50
from Ambient Noodlings Hosted by Michael Connell
Happy Sunday! Wow, here we are at #50! That means a full year of weekly ambient music posts is just 2 weeks away. Hard to believe! Today I have another jam on my Moog Mother 32 duo. One of them plays a plucky sequence while the other has a complementary drawn out attach. Despite all the cabling, it’s a fairly simple patch. The Dice module provides the brains of the operation and the Mothers supply the tones. I’m moving away from doing the patch diagrams. It’s too time consuming and I’m just too busy right now. I’m thinking a photo of the setup will suffice in the probably unlikely event that I’ll try and reproduce it in the future. Maybe it will be helpful to someone though. Patch Notes Voices: 2x Mother 32 * Dice runs sequences * Gates from Dice sent through Missed Opportunities for some randomization * Pitch CV from Dice is attenuated by MISO and sent through A-156 Quantizer * Maths used for envelopes on both Mother 32s * Chaos and Entropy provide modulation of filter and resonance This is a public episode.
