Elisha, a Spirit led prophet of God, makes nourishing what would have otherwise been poison for the people. Just as the wild gourds were unfit for the men to eat without Elisha's help, our best intentions will ultimately be our demise without Christ leading us. The flour Elisha put in the stew provided a way for the people to eat in a time of great famine. Jesus' blood is the way God provided a rescue for our wicked hearts to be rescued and restored. Just as God moved in the heart of Elisha for the people, He moves in the hearts of those He calls today.   2 Kings 4:38-44 Kenny Nix, Pastor
