“Lord, how long shall I cry for help and you will not hear? Or cry to you “Violence!” and you will not save?” We’ve all been here before. We’ve stood in a place of desperation and exhaustion as we plead with God to deliver us from our trial. Habakkuk knew this feeling well. A man with many questions and challenges, he models for us what it looks like to faithfully “wrestle” with God. In this short book of the minor prophets, we will learn that we are not only invited into this wrestling process, but God desires to meet with us here.
