Sunday, August 5, 2018 -Judges

In our new series "Judges", we see God immediately call Gideon with a clear message. Even amid Gideon's questions and doubt, God responds, "I am sending you." The Lord promised to be with Gideon while he carried out what God told him to do.  God began a work in Gideon's family first. Once we give God our "yes" to the call on our lives, we will be challenged to address things within ourselves before we can fully walk the journey God has laid before us. The struggles are difficult, painful and require a greater dependence on God. On the other side of the challenge is deeper roots of faith and a closer walk to the One who will never leave us.
