She has a true dedication for assisting Entrepreneurs and managing Small Business Development. Michelle has diligently worked with small businesses in New York City to ensure business growth. In her role as Vice President of Business Services for the NYC Business Solution Center in Brooklyn she assisted small business owners with business services for starting, expanding or continual growth of their business. Michelle specializes in creating relationships and resources for business owners to keep awareness at a peak state, while overall adding to the bottom line of small businesses. Also in her role as the Executive Director of the Flatbush Nostrand Junction Business Improvement District (The Junction BID), Michelle utilized her skill set and expertise in transforming the look and feel of the Flatbush Nostrand Junction Commercial corridor. Michelle’s dedication and drive for Neighborhood Development and Small Businesses enables her to keep her focus and vision on managing capital improvement projects. Today, Michelle owns her own company, THE GRAD ZONE and still continues to teach Business Planning classes to startup Entrepreneurs. She also works with Youth Organizations to prepare young entrepreneurs and career readiness. Michelle’s greatest passion is to keep small businesses vibrant and aware of their roles in today’s economy. Michelle has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and is a graduate of the CORO Neighborhood Leadership program.
