Sunday, December 17, 2017 -ACTS

In Acts 5, we see Ananias and Sapphira had a chance to do the right thing and be honest about withholding a portion of the money they made from the land they sold. Being reconciled to God through Christ, we have the same opportunity. God extends an invitation to us to turn away from ourselves and the things that pull us away from the closeness He desires. We sometimes dismiss the importance of our obedience to the Holy Spirit. We do not fully realize how greatly our sin affects us and those around us. You can’t be half way in on the gospel. Christ calls us to be all in with Him. The modern church has created a grey space in many areas, but there are no grey zones with God and what He has laid before us.
