Sunday, December 2, 2018 -Overcoming Anger

As we continue our "Overcoming Anger" series, we are reminded how quickly anger can get out of control through the passage of Cain murdering his brother, Able. If we allow our sinful feelings to linger and grow, they will eventually turn into action. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus speaks directly about anger. He is clear that the motives in our heart are as sinful as our outward actions. If we have anger or any other thing against another person, reconciliation should come even before a sacrifice to God.    Genesis 4:1-26; Matthew 5:17-26 Kenny Nix, Pastor
