Good evening ladies and Jensen welcome to another episode of a different view today's topic I just want to take some time here it is Sunday, and I want to put this on there for those listening to my messages that Don't know what I believe in or not I am Christian and while I am I in no means disregard other people who are from Excuse me who believe in something different or don't believe in anything Which would be the different view in Christianity having having respect for those who believe different who live differently I think that's where a lot of again like I end most of my episodes. That's where Life's beauty is in when we can see things a little differently This week I had the chance of sometimes I'll do these on these episodes here Give a little excerpts from different things in my life to give my you know My view on it which may be different from you guys as you're listening the idea Or the response I should say I've had to the movie the Jesus revolution which I do think it goes back into the 60s in a time where Hippies which shout out to those who are hippie by the way who do believe in living a hippie lifestyle? There is there is much much truth there Life really is meant to live in peace the belief of chasing after it as much as a person would defend themselves The same is to be said about those who will live peacefully who live in love who believe that war should not be or the very least should be the last option So so definitely shout out to the hippies and as well of course the other side of it is what came out of all of that is church People stopped being so high and mighty which I'll get to in a second where they decided to accept someone of a different life than them and In which in being human and loving to them. I'll say it that way.
They actually accepted Another life that helped them not die from addictions and overdoses and living a life without Responsibilities to certain things in their lives Which I do believe we are all Part of we're all part of a system here in this reality where we have Responsibilities to each other and we see a lot of the imbalances in life today because we don't because we have not been as responsible as we should have been toward each other Part out responsibility is showing love and respect to people irregardless of what you think they do so my thought my thoughts on That movie bring out a lot of topics and one of the songs It's cool sometimes here I'll shout out different things and thanks to all the producers creators of that movie to the courage to go back in time I think there's a lot to learn about life as we see it today and even in the spectrum of history in general looking at the 60s and 70s Of course, there's a little bit of the 80s there, but the 60s and 70s really have a lot there That's locked away that even sometimes when parents and grandparents don't talk about But there's there's a lot there. So just the ideas of people accepting others of a different background I thought that was very very powerful in that movie. I think it's what makes humanity most special is not the fight for solely Singularity but also The come together as the song goes from the Beatles and also Aerosmith like Aerosmith's rendition of a little bit better Like kind of like rock and roll just the same as I like hip-hop etc. So it's cool but the idea of respecting the balance between being individual and being in a group and I think many times as far as the church goes again, we being Christian We have only accepted those who look like us and that is wrong And of course the Bible has been used in a lot of ways to to harm humanity in some very very sick fashions That's saying it lightly but we have to get back to Accepting peoples of all types that is where the power of the gospel is That's where that's where the truth of it is.
I don't think Jesus and dying and again this goes out to the people who do believe in Christianity It's not not to knock anyone else's but just speaking on this belief on this religion specifically You have to understand and realize Jesus didn't pick and choose who to die for if you believe the verses It's everyone that this message of salvation goes to everyone who wants to hear it And I think in our picking and choosing who has on the nice suit the tie dress certain jewelry in a certain place We've lost and gone out of place the rest of the story Which is the person that would have the matted hair those people are just as important to the creator People who wear sneakers jeans Maybe not smell so good as much as we can't stand people who have bad body odor and such and I apologize ladies and gents If I've gone on a little longer Sometimes that will happen from episode to episode where I go shorter or longer Sundays kind of one of those days kind of close to me again from what I believe in and such so sometimes it may go a little Longer than two or five minutes, but it's just it's just let's keep in remembrance Why we as Christians and also as humans why we're doing what we're doing As much as this is about defense and protection This is also about love acceptance forgiveness Reconciliation and when we grasp ahold of those types of things we actually make this place better might not be the better We think it will look like But we no doubt make this place better Well, thank you for joining me again ladies and gents and as always fine beauty in a different view
